What Makes Peach Vodka Lemonade Special?

Lemonade has been a popular beverage for a long time. In fact, the origins of lemonade date back to the Egyptians!

In that amount of time, we’ve had a lot of time to tweak the recipe and come up with a lot of creative variations, including cocktails!

Of course, fruity variations are always popular, and peach is the perfect choice. Why? Well, that’s because peaches are inherently sweet, and readily available in the summer, which is the time you’re most likely to want a refreshing lemonade.

So, this peach vodka lemonade is special because it’s the perfect mashup of seasonal summer flavors in an easy to make cocktail!

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

Vodka peach lemonade cocktails are incredibly easy to make. It’s just as simple to make a single serving or an entire pitcher, meaning that you can enjoy one solo or with a crowd.

These refreshing vodka lemonade drinks are perfect poolside, or served to a crowd at your next backyard barbecue!

I also love that it’s an extremely adjustable recipe with a lot of variations that work. That means you don’t always need to make a special trip to the liquor store, as you can often adjust for what you have on hand!

Ingredients List

ingredients to make peach vodka lemonade

For a Single Serving

  • 2 Ounces peach vodka (such as Smirnoff, Deep Eddy, New Amsterdam, or Three Olives)
  • 3 Ounces prepared lemonade
  • ½ fresh peach, sliced
  • Ice cubes

For a Pitcher (Approximately 6 Servings)

  • 3 Cups prepared lemonade
  • 2 Cups peach vodka
  • 1 Cup peach juice (such as Simply Peach)
  • 3 fresh peaches, sliced
  • Ice cubes

Ingredient Tips and Substitutions

  • You can also use citrus vodka, Smirnoff peach lemonade flavored vodka, or you can use 1 ounce regular vodka and 1 ounce peach schnapps or peach simple syrup instead
  • To lower alcohol content, reduce the vodka to 1 ounce for a single serving or 1 cup for a pitcher, and offset with peach juice or additional lemonade instead
  • Any type of lemonade is fine. I use Simply Lemonade, but you can use any other brand, make homemade, prepare a powdered mix, or whatever you like
  • You can omit the fresh peaches if desired to reduce sweetness, but they add visual appeal and taste (and I don’t think it’s sickly sweet anyway)
  • Vodka lemonade cocktail proportions are normally 2:3. However, when you make it in a pitcher, I find you need extra juice to balance it. You can also use some peach simple syrup, nectar, or puree (store bought or homemade)
  • Garnish with a slice of lemon or a slice of fresh peach, if desired

Variations of Vodka Peach Lemonade

  • Warm. Add warmth to your cocktail with ¼ tsp (1 tsp for a pitcher) of cinnamon, ginger, or cloves
  • Spicy. Add a few slices of jalapeno (or a whole jalapeno for a pitcher) or candied ginger to add a spicy variation!
  • Herby. Mint or basil leaves can be added to your cocktail for an herb infusion, which also helps to reduce sweetness
  • Frozen. Add the cocktail (including ice) to a blender and pulse for a blended slushie cocktail variation!
  • Sparkling. Use the addition of prosecco (about 1 ounce for a glass, or 1 cup for a pitcher) or lemon-flavored sparkling water to make a sparkling peach vodka lemonade
