One of my favorite fast food indulgences are chicken fries. They’re somehow even better than nuggets! Instead of heading for the drive thru, though, now I can head to my freezer instead. These frozen chicken fries in the air fryer deliver delicious, perfectly crispy results!

  • Chicken fries are tasty on their own, but are great with any chicken nugget dipping sauce. I like buttermilk ranch or honey mustard, but other popular options include honey, sweet and sour, barbecue sauce, buffalo ranch, secret sauce, or sriracha sauce

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (or the closest setting your specific air fryer has). Spray the basket with nonstick spray if it doesn’t have a nonstick coating
  2. Remove frozen chicken fries from all packaging and place into the preheated air fryer basket in a single layer

  1. Cook on the air fry setting for 8 minutes at 390°F, pausing halfway through to shake the basket
  2. Chicken fries are done when the exterior is lightly browned and crispy, and the interior temperature reaches 165°F. Add additional time (generally no more than 2-3 minutes) if needed to achieve this
  3. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces and sides!
