Why You’ll Love This Recipe

These Casa Mamita stuffed nachos from Aldi are an easy, fast, and tasty appetizer that cooks up in the air fryer in under 10 minutes. What’s not to love?

Stuffed nachos are currently available in queso and beef and cheese varieties (I chose the beef and cheese). They are part of the Aldi finds, so they’re only around for about a week at a time periodically throughout the year (I found mine at the end of March).

Now, truth be told, Aldi includes air fryer instructions on the box, so you’re probably wondering why I’m bothering? Well, I’ve found that often the directions don’t work for my air fryer, so I test, taste, and give you my findings to save you the trouble!

  • 14 ounce box Aldi Casa Mamita frozen stuffed nachos (any flavor)

Ingredient Tips and Notes

  • Aldi makes a queso cheese and a beef and cheese flavor of stuffed nachos – either one works great! You can also use other brands, like Totino’s or Old El Paso stuffed nachos if these are unavailable
  • Casa Mamita stuffed nachos are an Aldi find, meaning they are only available to buy for select weeks throughout the year. I paid $3.99 USD for a 14 ounce box containing about 20 frozen stuffed nachos (but note that prices can vary by location)
  • Dipping sauces aren’t required, but if you want one, try sour cream, salsa, taco sauce, guacamole, or ranch dressing

  1. Cook on the air fry setting at 350°F for 6-7 minutes, pausing halfway through to flip them over, until an internal temperature of 160°F is reached. I did not preheat and 7 minutes was perfect for me. Note that if they start to puff up, you should remove them before they burst

Recipe FAQs

What Are Aldi Stuffed Nachos?

Aldi stuffed nachos are a delicious frozen appetizer or snack sold under the Casa Mamita brand label. They are breaded nachos stuffed with your choice of Mexican-inspired filling options.

They are considered Aldi “finds” and are only available for week-long stints periodically throughout the year. Currently, stuffed nachos are available in queso or beef and cheese flavor options. However, this lineup could change in the future.

How Do I Make Air Fryer Aldi Stuffed Nachos?

To make air fryer Aldi stuffed nachos, place them in your air fryer’s basket or rack in a single layer. Cook at 350°F for 6-7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until an internal temperature of 160°F is reached.

If you preheat your air fryer, you can skip the flipping and reduce cooking time by around 1 minute. Exact times will vary regardless between different air fryer brands and models.

How Long Do I Cook Air Fryer Aldi Stuffed Nachos?

Cooking times will vary between air fryers and depending whether you preheat or not. However, usually you cook Aldi stuffed nachos in an air fryer for 6-7 minutes at 350°F.

Check the internal temperature for at least 160°F before serving, and adjust as needed based on your particular air fryer.

What Are Good Dipping Sauces for Aldi Stuffed Nachos?

For dipping sauces for your Aldi stuffed nachos, try sour cream, salsa, taco sauce, guacamole, crema, ranch dressing, or anything else similar.

They are also good on their own, so dipping sauce is entirely optional.

How Should I Serve Casa Mamita Stuffed Nachos?

Serve Casa Mamita stuffed nachos as a tasty appetizer for game day parties, movie nights, or any casual gathering.

Garnish with your favorite toppings like salsa, sour cream, or fresh cilantro for added flavor.

Are Air Fryer Aldi Stuffed Nachos Gluten Free?

No, Aldi Casa Mamita stuffed nachos are not gluten free, as they are breaded and contain wheat products.

Currently no frozen stuffed nacho brands have a gluten free option, but you can always make your own using naturally gluten-free corn based tortilla chips.

Recipe Pro Tips

  • You do not need to spray with any oil as there is plenty already frozen into the breading
  • I did not preheat my air fryer (since I flipped the nachos) and they were perfect, verified via instant read thermometer, after 7 minutes total cooking time. I have a Ninja Dual Zone air fryer so other brands may vary
  • If you do preheat, you can eliminate the flip and generally reduce cooking time by 1-2 minutes (again depending on your specific air fryer)

Storage and Reheating Tips

  • Store leftover stuffed nachos in an airtight container or zippered bag in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. I do not recommend refreezing after they have been cooked once
  • To reheat Casa Mamita stuffed nachos from refrigerated, air fry at 350°F for 2-3 minutes, until warmed through and re-crisped outside

Casa Mamita Aldi Stuffed Nachos Review

I enjoyed the Aldi Mama Casita beef and cheese stuffed nachos. I love how quick and easy they are to cook, coming in at 7 minutes for me without preheating my air fryer.

They’re a great  appetizer or snack option for sure, and I’d serve them for Cinco de Mayo, game day, or for any other get-togethers. Each box has about 20 stuffed nachos (or 5 servings) which feels like a good value relative to the price.

The exterior comes out nice and crispy from the air fryer; I really enjoyed the crunch. Inside is nice and hot, and I found them very flavorful! They have a good level of seasoning and spice, though I wouldn’t call them spicy overall.

This beef and cheese flavor in particular was surprisingly heavier on the beef flavor than the cheese! It’s very reminiscent of nacho meat, and while I could see chunks of carrot in mine, I didn’t taste the vegetables at all.

I think if you want a really strong cheese flavor, you’re better off opting for the queso flavor, or adding some queso as a dipping sauce for these. However, if you’re looking for a meatier option, these are definitely great!

Stuffed nachos are akin to Frozen Toasted Ravioli in the Air Fryer, but with Mexican-inspired fillings instead of Italian, if that helps paint a better picture of what to expect.

Overall I’d give these frozen stuffed nachos an 8 out of 10. They’re quick, convenient, flavorful, and I would definitely get them again.

Final Thoughts

These air fryer Aldi stuffed nachos are such a fun appetizer or snack! They’re perfect for Cinco de Mayo, your Super Bowl party, or anytime you want a flavorful, crunchy choice.

The air fryer gets a crispy exterior and hot, melty interior in under 10 minutes. Now that’s convenient!

If you can’t find Casa Mamita stuffed nachos (since Aldi finds are limited time), this recipe works equally well with Old El Paso and Totino’s brand frozen stuffed nachos too!

Serve them up solo or with your favorite dipping sauces for a satisfying Mexican inspired treat with no prep work required!
