It doesn’t get much easier than a 2 ingredient cocktail, and that’s why I love this Pink Whitney and Sprite recipe. This pink lemonade flavored vodka pairs perfectly with lemon-lime soda for a refreshing drink that’s great for spring, summer, or Valentine’s Day because of the pink color!

Why You’ll Love This Recipe
Pink Whitney is a pink lemonade New Amsterdam vodka that found its roots with some inspired hockey fans and hockey player Ryan Whitney. It’s slightly lower proof than regular vodka (60 instead of 80) and boasts a pink color that hints at its flavor.
The citrusy notes are perfect paired with a variety of different mixers, but one of my favorites is the basic – soda. Sprite is an obvious choice, since the lemon lime notes perfectly compliment the lemonade flavors in the vodka to create a delicious cocktail.
Of course, there are lots of other combinations that work well, and I’ll be sure to give you some more ideas below!

Tips For the Best Pink Whitney and Sprite
- Glassware. Any tall, clear glass works, such as a highball, Collins glass, can glass, pint glass, or anything you have on hand
- You can adjust the strength to taste or if you have smaller glasses and cannot use the entire can of soda. Feel free to start with 1 – 1 ½ ounces and adjust from there, or for a stronger drink start at 3 ounces. I consider this drink low strength tasting at the recommended 2 ounces due to the lower alcohol content of Pink Whitney (compared to a regular vodka soda)

Storage and Serving Tips
- Garnishes are completely optional for this drink, but if you want to add something use lemon slices (or lime), fresh mint leaves, fresh raspberries or strawberry slices. For extra sweetness, add a sugar rim to the glass. A fun straw is also a nice touch!
- A Pink Whitney and Sprite is best enjoyed fresh due to the effervescence of the soda. However, you can mix a large batch in a pitcher or carafe (preferably with an airtight lid) an hour or two in advance of a party. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve, then pour into individual glasses filled with ice and garnish just before serving
