1. T Fal Air Fryer Recipe for French Fries

This recipe for T Fal air fryer french fries is the perfect way to get golden, crispy fries (or chips depending what you call them) with less oil than deep frying!

It was designed using a 4.4-qt Tefal with Actifry technology, but you can easily adapt it to fit other sizes and models as well.

They require just 3 ingredients โ€“ one of which is, you guessed it, potatoes! Russet potatoes are the most classic for french fries, but you can always get creative and sub in sweet potatoes as well.

While this recipe features simple salt for seasoning, you can always swap it up with other favorites. I like to add some Cajun seasoning for spicy fries โ€“ yum!

Alternatively, you can create loaded fries as well for a complete meal on their own. I love to make Air Fryer Chili Cheese Fries, but there are definitely other great topping options as well.

These fries come together in about 40 minutes total, but require very little tending so you can go about working on the rest of your meal.

Finish with a dipping sauce of ketchup, curry aioli, or any of your other favorite sauces.

2. Asian Chicken Wings T-Fal Air Fryer Recipe

This T-Fal air fryer recipe for Asian style chicken wings is sweet, sticky, and perfectly cooked in your Actifry appliance.

Itโ€™s only 5 ingredients total, and you can even use frozen chicken wings! The recipe only takes about 30 minutes (or less if you use fresh wings) and little effort, so itโ€™s a perfect game day snack.

Serve with ranch or bleu cheese dressing for dipping and some carrots and celery on the side.

If youโ€™re not a fan of the Asian inspired sauce, you can always cook the wings plain and dress with your favorite sauces! I love the traditional buffalo of course, but like to change it up with garlic parmesan or sweet chili for fun.

Of course, you can skip the mess of eating wings entirely and make Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Dip instead. Just serve with crackers for a mess-free way to enjoy that buffalo wing taste.

This T Fal air fryer recipe for salmon risotto shows that you can enjoy an elegant meal in addition to your standard โ€œfried fareโ€.

If you have the Actifry model of air fryer with the paddle, the entire dish (rice included) may be cooked in it!

Otherwise, you can follow the stove top directions for the rice, and then I recommend using the air fryer for some fresh salmon and combining them together after. Then you get to enjoy the best of both worlds!

Creamy peas and salty parmesan round out the dish for a meal thatโ€™s filling, balanced, and totally delicious!

Plus, if you have leftover rice or risotto, you can turn it into tasty Air Fryer Arancini to use it up!

6. Whole Chicken Tefal Air Fryer Recipe

Larger models of Tefal air fry can actually cook a whole chicken!  Not the small actifry, but the larger basket models that are 4.2-qt or larger can hold a small roaster chicken.

Just marinate and season the chicken up the way you like. I use a mix of olive oil and herbs with a squeeze of lemon, but you can definitely change it up and use barbecue rubs, wing rubs, or really anything else that sounds good.

Throw the chicken in the air fryer and cook for 45-60 minutes depending on the size of the chicken, or until it gets to 165ยฐF internally.

The T Fal air fryer does such a great job of delivering crispy skin and juicy chicken. Plus, you donโ€™t need to heat up the house by turning the range oven on, making it easy to enjoy year round.

This recipe works with any style of T-Fal air fryer, and the chicken always comes out juicy and delicious with nice, crispy skin.

Marinate or season your chicken however you like it. I often use a salad dressing mix like Italian or ranch to keep things simple, but really any mix of oil, herbs, and seasonings works great.

The chicken drummies cook up perfectly in only about 20 minutes, making for a nice, easy meal. Enjoy them straight off the bone, or pull the meat off and shred it for tacos or burritos!

Serve with a simple side, like my crispy Air Fryer Brussel Sprouts With Bacon for a complete meal!

8. Wiener Schnitzel T-Fal Air Fryer Recipe

Wiener schnitzel is another great recipe you can make in your T-Fal air fryer, regardless of the model you have!

While this recipe does call for veal, itโ€™s very easy to swap in pounded pork chops or slices of pork roast or loin. Iโ€™ve even used it with thin sliced chicken breasts!

The concept is simple, featuring simple breading, seasoning, and a squeeze of lemon. Cook it up in 15 minutes or less in your air fryer for a browned, crispy breading hiding juicy, tender meat inside.

Serve with spaetzle, steamed vegetables, and some Frozen Pretzels in the Air Fryer to round out your German inspired meal!

Juicy dark meat chicken thighs cook up perfect in this T-Fal air fryer recipe. A simple blend of olive oil and seasonings gives it the perfect flavor whether youโ€™re enjoying your chicken alone or in another dish.

Only 25 minutes in the T-Fal air fryer is all it takes to cook up perfect thighs! This recipe works with the Actifry as well as other basket models.

When itโ€™s done, youโ€™ll have nice crispy skin and impossibly juicy meat inside!

Shred up your cooked chicken for use on salads, in tacos, burritos, empanadas, and more! I like to make a big batch and then use it in various other dishes throughout the week to save time.

Just be aware that due to the fat content in chicken thighs, itโ€™s normal for your air fryer to start smoking during cooking. Be prepared to tip the grease out or use some bread to absorb it if need be!

Of course, you can cook full breasts if preferred, but I particularly like this recipe for chicken fajitas which uses the breast cut into strips.

Add in some bell peppers, onions, and fajita seasonings and dinner is ready in under 30 minutes!

Top them up just the way you like โ€“ Iโ€™m a fan of a little sour cream and hot sauce.

While theyโ€™re great as fajitas, I also love to use the leftovers to top up my Trader Joeโ€™s Air Fryer Arepas for an easy lunch option the next day.

Just make sure to absorb or dump the grease to avoid your air fryer smoking.

Do You Put Oil in a Tefal Air Fryer?

Typically, you do put some oil in a Tefal air fryer. Usually, this is less than 1 Tablespoon in total.

The Actifry model allows you to just pour it in due to the paddle. For basket models, you should mix in in advance or spray an oil mist over the top.

How Much Oil Do I Put in My T Fal Air Fryer?

The average amount of oil to put in a T Fal air fryer ranges from around 1 teaspoon up to 1 tablespoon, depending what youโ€™re cooking.

Frozen foods and other items that just need a little exterior crisping may only require an oil mist on the top.

Can I Use Aluminum Foil in a Tefal Air Fryer?

Yes, you can use aluminum foil in a Tefal air fryer. If you have a paddle model, you will need to remove the paddle so that it doesnโ€™t wind up in a ball.

Always make sure to never completely block all openings with the foil, as it will restrict air flow and food wonโ€™t cook as evenly. Wrap the food directly, or utilize a small piece as needed, while leaving the rest of the basket open.

Do I Need to Put Water in My Tefal Air Fryer?

No, you do not need to put water in your Tefal air fryer. Air fryers do not require water, and there are limited instances where you would want to add it.

Do I Need to Preheat My Tefal Air Fryer?

While you donโ€™t need to preheat your Tefal air fryer, it is recommended. In fact, some models come with a dedicated preheat function. This ensures more even cooking since your air fryer is up to temperature before you add food.

That said, you can always add 2-3 extra minutes to indicated recipe cooking times to account for the preheat.

Can You Put Frozen Food in a Tefal Air Fryer?

Yes, you can put frozen food in a Tefal air fryer. Air fryers are great for cooking directly from frozen with no defrosting needed.

Just make sure to keep your items in a single layer and flip once halfway through cooking to ensure there is no moisture buildup as things thaw out.

Can You Cook Pizza in a Tefal Air Fryer?
