Enjoy dessert in cocktail form with this simple blackberry cobbler cocktail, featuring Crown Royal blackberry whiskey. Just 4 ingredients and a few minutes is all it takes for this sweet sip!
To rim your glass (optional), run a wedge of lemon around the edge to wet it, then dip the glass in the graham cracker crumbs, turning to coat
Lemon wedge, Graham cracker crumbs
Add all cocktail ingredients to a shaker (or a mason jar), along with a couple ice cubes. Note: if you’re planning to muddle fruit, mash it in the bottom of the shaker first before adding the other ingredients
1 ½ Ounces Crown Royal blackberry whiskey, 1 Ounce RumChata horchata liquor, ½ Ounce fresh lemon juice, ½ Tsp honey, Ice cubes
Shake for 20-30 seconds until well mixed and chilled, then strain into a glass filled with ice
Garnish with a twist of lemon or orange peel, or fresh blackberries on a cocktail pick if desired, and enjoy!
Notes
Instead of the Crown Royal blackberry whiskey, you can use another blackberry-flavored whiskey, bourbon, rum, or gin. Alternatively, use a plain alcohol and add ½ ounce blackberry syrup, blackberry liqueur (like crème de mure), or 3-4 fresh muddled blackberries
If you don’t have RumChata, you can use vanilla or whipped cream vodka with a pinch of cinnamon
You can also use orange juice (or orange liqueur) instead of the lemon juice if preferred
Adjust the sweetness to taste by varying the amount of lemon juice and honey. You can also use simple syrup, blackberry syrup, seedless blackberry jam or preserves, or agave instead
This cobbler cocktail can be served in any lowball styleglass (whiskey, old fashioned, rocks), or a tall, thin glass (such as a Collins)
Garnishes are optional for this cocktail, but good choices include fresh blackberries, a twist of orange or lemon peel, or a sprig of mint. You could also top it with some whipped cream!
Exact nutritional values will vary based on brand of ingredients, any garnishes or rims added, and actual quantity consumed, so please consider this a guideline only
