Notes
You can use other brands besides Crown salted caramel if you like. Ole Smoky, Bird Dog, and Tennessee Legend are some common alternatives
Don’t like whiskey? Use a salted caramel vodka like Smirnoff instead!
Instead of the coffee liquor, you can also use salted caramel Baileys Irish cream. This is a good option for anyone who doesn’t like coffee!
Frozen variation: swap the cream for ice cream and blend for an adult coffee milkshake!
Garnishes are optional, but some common ones are whipped cream, caramel drizzle, caramel candies, or a sprig of rosemary
Pouring the cream over the liquor creates a swirl layer effect and that’s traditional. However, if preferred, you can blend everything before drinking to alleviate pockets of different strengths
I’m using 11 ounce whiskey glasses for this, but you can use any similar rocks or old fashioned glass, a stemless wine or martini glass, or a tall thin highball, like a Collins style glass
Exact nutritional values will vary based on brand of ingredients, any garnishes added, size of glasses, and actual quantity consumed, so please consider this a guideline only
