Easy Bird’s Eye Crispy Green Beans Air Fryer Method
Bird’s Eye crispy green beans are even better in the air fryer! Taking just 6-8 minutes on average, they’re a perfect quick side dish, snack, or appetizer.
Place frozen Bird’s Eye crispy green beans into the preheated air fryer basket in a single layer
12 Ounce bag frozen Bird's Eye crispy green beans
Cook on the air fry setting at 400°F for 6 minutes, pausing halfway through to shake the basket
Add additional time if needed for a darker or crispier breading (the exact time will vary based on your air fryer, but 2-3 minutes more is generally all it would need)
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces
Notes
You do not need to add any oil for cooking, as it contains some in the breading already, so they will naturally crisp as they cook
While this recipe is made using Bird’s Eye frozen breaded green beans, it works equally well with other brands, such as PF Chang’s or Fred’s, so feel free to use your favorites
My frozen breaded green beans were perfectly crisped and hot after 6 minutes in a Ninja air fryer. Other air fryers will vary slightly
I can fit the entire 12 ounce bag comfortably in my 8-qt air fryer. If you have a smaller air fryer, you may need to cook in batches. Overcrowding will result in soggy green bean fries
Store leftover green bean fries in the refrigerator once cooled for up to 5 days. Do not refreeze once they have been cooked once
To reheat crispy green beans, air fry at 350°F for 3-5 minutes, until the beans are warm and re-crisped
Exact nutritional values will vary based on dipping sauces or sides added, and actual quantity consumed, so please consider this a guideline only
