With just 7 ingredients, this simple blueberry pie smoothie is a creamy, sippable alternative to the classic dessert. It’s a perfect low fat alternative that still satisfies your sweet tooth for breakfast, dessert, or a snack!
½Cupunsweetened vanilla nut milk(I have macadamia)
½Cupblueberry juice
½Tspvanilla extract
1Tbsphoney
¼Cupold fashioned oats(uncooked)
Instructions
Add all ingredients to your favorite blender
1 ½ Cups frozen blueberries, ½ Cup blueberry or mixed berry Greek yogurt, ½ Cup unsweetened vanilla nut milk, ½ Cup blueberry juice, ½ Tsp vanilla extract, 1 Tbsp honey, ¼ Cup old fashioned oats
Choose high, smoothie, or the puree setting, depending what your model has available
Thin with additional milk or juice, or thicken with ice or more frozen fruit as desired
(Optional) Add in your protein or collagen powder and mix on the lowest setting to blend

Notes
You can swap plain or vanilla Greek yogurt in place of the berry flavor if you like. I use the zero sugar version
Any type of unsweetened vanilla milk works. I have macadamia milk, but almond, soy, coconut, or anything else you like is a great swap
Blueberry juice can be swapped for cherry or pomegranate, or you can use a mix like cranberry blueberry acai
Honey may be swapped for maple syrup, agave nectar, or another natural sweetener
For the old fashioned oats, you may swap in another type of oat, blueberry instant oatmeal (which does contain sugar), or 2 graham crackers instead
For extra thickness, feel free to add in ¼ cup frozen banana slices
Up to 2 Tbsp of vanilla protein or collagen powder may be added if desired
This recipe is designed to be made in a full sized blender. You’d want to scale it down to a single serving if you plan to use a portable blender instead. If you don’t have a blender, a food processor or immersion blender work in a pinch!
You may keep any leftover blueberry pie smoothie in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. I recommend adding a squeeze of lemon juice to prevent oxidation
For longer term storage, measure out the ingredients into freezer bags, store in the freezer for up to 3 months, and blend directly from frozen as desired
