35 Ounces frozen seafood boil, 4-5 Tbsp seafood seasoning, such as Old Bay
Place the boil into the preheated air fryer basket in as close to a single layer as possible
Cook on the air fry setting for 10-15 minutes at 400°F, pausing every 5 minutes to stir or shake the basket
Seafood boil is done when an internal temperature of 160°F is reached, and potatoes pierce easily with a fork
Serve with lemon wedges, drawn butter, and top with additional seasoning if desired
Notes
Any brand of seafood boil works just fine! I’ve got Tastee Choice which I’ve seen at a number of national grocery stores, but I know Aldi has their own Fremont Fish Market label option sometimes as well
This mix contains shrimp, mussels, corn, potatoes, and andouille sausage with a butter seasoning mix. Feel free to add other frozen seafoods like crab legs or lobster tail if you like, or spice it up with some Old Bay or other seafood seasoning!
These cooking times only work because the frozen mix comes with partially cooked wedge cut potatoes. If you are making a fresh seafood boil, the potatoes need to be cooked for about 15 minutes before adding the seafood to prevent overcooking
The frozen boil will give off a decent amount of water during cooking. If you have a toaster oven style air fryer, make sure your drip pan is in place. I otherwise recommend cleaning your baskets thoroughly before you cook so you can pour the seasoned broth over top of the seafood to serve
When checking the temperature, the sausage is the best thing to use as your testing point for doneness
My frozen seafood boil was perfect per an instant read thermometer after 13 minutes in a Ninja air fryer. Other air fryers may vary
Store any leftover seafood boil in the refrigerator and consume within 3 days. Do not refreeze once it has been cooked once
To reheat, air fry leftover seafood boil for 7-10 minutes at 325°F (if your potatoes are large, add them first for 3 or so minutes before adding the rest), or microwave until heated through
Exact nutritional values will vary based on brand and flavor of ingredients, any seasonings, additional ingredients, or sides added, and quantity consumed, so please consider this a guideline only
