Notes
While I’m using Trader Joe’s Brazilian cheese bread there are other brands available as well if you don’t live near a TJ’s. Brazi Bites, Forno de Minas, and Cheeziños are other popular brands
These cheese bread balls are delicious on their own. However, if you’d like a dipping sauce, I recommend marinara or chimichurri for accompaniments, or serve with dulce de leche for a caramel cheddar popcorn vibe!
You do not need to flip Brazilian cheese bread during cooking
No oil is needed as there is enough naturally from the cheese in the bread
Brazilian cheese bread should be slightly crispy on the outside, with a soft, chewy inside texture
Mine were perfect after 5 minutes in a Ninja Dual Zone air fryer. Other models of air fryer and other brands of cheese bread may cause this time to vary slightly
Store any leftover Brazilian cheese bread in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Do not refreeze once your frozen bread has been cooked once
To reheat, air fry Trader Joe’s Brazilian cheese bread for about 3 minutes at 350°F, or pop in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Note that the latter method, while quick, will cause the bread to lose the external crispiness
Exact nutritional values will vary based on brand and flavor of ingredients, any sauces or sides added, and quantity consumed, so please consider this a guideline only
