This air fryer s’mores dip recipe features cookie dough for even more fun. It’s just 4 ingredients, one pan, and takes less than 10 minutes to whip up!
Oven safe cake pan, pie pan, springform pan, or casserole dish that fits in your air fryer basket
Nonstick spray
Ingredients
12Ouncebag semi sweet chocolate chips
10Ouncebag marshmallows(regular or jumbo size)
14Ouncebox graham crackers(any flavor)
7Ouncebag chocolate chip cookie dough bites(such as Pillsbury or Toll House)
Instructions
Preheat your air fryer to 350°F
Spray your dish(es) with nonstick spray to allow for easier cleanup
To the bottom of your cake pan or casserole dish, add the chocolate chips in an even layer
12 Ounce bag semi sweet chocolate chips
Sprinkle the cookie dough balls on top of the chocolate chips, evenly spreading them out
7 Ounce bag chocolate chip cookie dough bites
Top with the marshmallows. They will expand during cooking so you don’t want to pack them too tightly (but tight enough that they don’t fly away). They also shouldn’t overflow your container before cooking either (you may want to lay them down vs standing them upright)
10 Ounce bag marshmallows
Place the filled dish into your preheated air fryer basket
Cook on the air fry setting for 5-7 minutes at 350°F, or until the marshmallows begin to brown (but not burn)
Serve with graham crackers or your other favorites for dipping!
14 Ounce box graham crackers
Notes
You may substitute dark chocolate or milk chocolate chips instead of semi sweet if preferred
Large size marshmallows work the best (minis don’t get gooey enough). Alternatively, use stuffed marshmallows for additional flavor or throw on those leftover Easter Peeps to get rid of them!
Use plain, honey, or cinnamon graham crackers, or feel free to offer other dipping options such as pretzels or apple slices
Since we’re not baking the cookie dough per se, you’ll want to make sure to choose edible cookie dough - meaning one that doesn’t require cooking to be safe to eat. Typically you can find this in the refrigerated cookie dough section or in the freezer near ice cream. If you can’t find bites, just break up small pieces from whatever you do find
Variations: Use half peanut butter chips, peanut butter cups, butterscotch chips, or chocolate coated caramels (like Rolo) along with the chocolate chips. You can use other flavors of cookie dough as well, such as peanut butter or birthday cake!
Since all sizes of air fryers and baskets are different, there’s a very good chance you won’t need to use the entire quantity of ingredients listed. Make sure whatever dish you use you don’t overfill beyond ¾ full, and scale back on ingredients as needed to achieve this
My casserole dishes measure approximately 8x4x3 inches, and I used ¾ cup of chocolate chips, ½ the bag of cookie dough bites, and 15 large marshmallows in each. I had a small amount of chocolate chips and marshmallows left over
I cooked my dip for 7 minutes total in a Ninja Dual Zone air fryer to get this level of browning. Feel free to add more time in small 1-2 minute increments if you’d like a deeper brown
If you smell burning sugar during cooking, pause your air fryer and check to make sure that a marshmallow hasn’t gotten up into the heating element. This can happen if they’re a little too loosely packed (but a little burning smell is normal regardless)
The marshmallows will naturally form a crust during cooking. If you like, you can use a spoon for scooping, but my graham crackers had no problems punching through the outer layer
Exact nutritional values will vary based on brand of ingredients, dippers used, and actual quantity consumed, so please consider this a guideline only
