This homemade orange mango smoothie is a quick, easy, and refreshing blend of citrus and tropical vibes. It’s full of vitamins and comes together in minutes, for a great start to your day!
1 Cup frozen mango chunks, ¼ Cup frozen banana slices, ½ Cup orange juice, ¼ Cup lowfat orange cream yogurt
Choose high, smoothie, or the puree setting, depending what your model has available
Thin with additional milk or juice, or thicken with ice or more frozen fruit as desired
(Optional) Add in any protein or collagen powder, matcha powder, or flax or chia seeds, and mix on the lowest setting to blend
Enjoy!
Notes
You can also use fresh mango if preferred, but it will make for a thinner smoothie unless you add additional ice. Make sure to use a ripe mango as well, which should give under pressure from your fingers
A fresh half banana can be swapped in for the frozen slices
You can use unsweetened or vanilla coconut milk, almond milk, or any other nut milk in place of the orange juice
The low-fat yogurt can be swapped for Greek yogurt, or omitted entirely for a dairy free option
You can use 1-2 fresh, peeled Clementine oranges in place of the orange juice if preferred
You can portion your smoothie ingredients ahead of time into single serve bags and store in the freezer. For the juice or yogurt, freeze it into ice cube trays for convenience! Then, just grab, blend, and go to save time in the morning
This recipe works best in a full sized blender. However, you may also use a food processor, immersion blender, or portable blender if needed
You may keep any leftover orange mango smoothie in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Add more ice or frozen fruit and re-blend if it gets too watery
