Texas Roadhouse Peach Fuzz: Copycat Drink Recipe

I love a good meal at Texas Roadhouse. Who am I kidding? It’s all about the insanely delicious rolls and they hardly qualify as a meal. Sometimes, though, you need to wash all those rolls down with something, and that’s where the Texas Roadhouse Peach Fuzz comes in!

What is the Texas Roadhouse Peach Fuzz?

A Texas Roadhouse Peach Fuzz, called the Texas Peach Fuzz on the menu, is a popular cocktail served at the Texas Roadhouse restaurant chain.

It is a refreshing and fruity drink made with a blend of vodka, peach schnapps, cranberry juice, and orange juice. This cocktail is known for its sweet and tangy flavor, making it a favorite choice for many patrons.

Now, like most restaurants, the drink (to me at least) is on the weaker side when you get it in the restaurant. The benefit of making it at home is that you can make it stronger, probably how you want your cocktails to actually be. It’s also less expensive to make it at home!

So, get that to-go order of a box of rolls, and since you can’t get alcohol to go, make this cocktail at home for the perfect pairing!

If you’re so inclined, you can also make air fryer rattlesnake bites, also a Texas Roadhouse copycat, to enjoy at home!

Texas Roadhouse Peach Fuzz Ingredients

ingredients to make texas roadhouse peach fuzz
  • 1 ounce vodka (Texas Roadhouse uses Tito’s brand)
  • ½ ounce peach schnapps
  • 2 ounces orange juice
  • 2 ounces cranberry juice
  • Ice cubes

Ingredient Tips and Notes

  • While the restaurant uses Tito’s, any brand of vodka is completely fine. I have Pinnacle so that’s what I’m using (but for the most “authentic” recreation, grab Tito’s)
  • The peach schnapps can also be any brand. I’m using DeKuyper peachtree, but there are other brands such as Faber and Barton that work fine!
  • For the cranberry juice, you can use sweetened or unsweetened as a way to control the sweetness level of the drink. Sweetened is used in-house, but I prefer unsweetened at home

Recipe FAQs

What Does a Texas Roadhouse Peach Fuzz Taste Like?

The Texas Roadhouse Peach Fuzz has a sweet and tangy flavor, combining the fruity notes of peach schnapps with the tartness of cranberry juice and the citrusy taste of orange juice.

It’s very similar to a fuzzy navel cocktail, with the addition of tartness thanks to the cranberry.

Is the Texas Roadhouse Peach Fuzz a Strong Drink?

Per the restaurant recipe, the Texas Roadhouse Peach Fuzz is not a strong drink, given the ratio of mixers to alcohol. It’s generally considered low to medium overall.

However, feel free to double the liquors (keeping the proportions the same) to make a stronger version of the drink at home.

Is the Texas Roadhouse Peach Fuzz Available Year-Round?

Yes, the Texas Roadhouse Peach Fuzz is a staple cocktail available year-round on the Texas Roadhouse drink menu.

You’ll find it listed as the Texas Peach Fuzz on their drink menu nationwide.

Can I Customize a Texas Roadhouse Peach Fuzz?

While the standard recipe is a fan favorite, you can adjust it to suit your personal preferences, especially if there’s something about the restaurant version you’ve wished you can change.

Add more alcohol for a stronger drink, use unsweetened cranberry juice to lower the sweetness, or experiment with different juices to create different flavor combinations.

What Are Some Similar Drinks to the Texas Roadhouse Peach Fuzz?

Similar fruity cocktails include the Peach Bellini, Fuzzy Navel, and the Sex on the Beach, all of which feature peach schnapps and fruit juices.

You can also try a Peach on the Beach, which is a peach spin on the classic drink.

How Much is a Peach Fuzz at Texas Roadhouse?

The price of a Peach Fuzz at Texas Roadhouse varies by location and specials, but usually ranges from $6.50 to $9.99.

This drink is not normally part of any happy hour discount offerings, though again, it can vary by particular location.

Recipe Tips For a Texas Peach Fuzz

  • Feel free to add more (up to double) the alcohol in this drink. That’s the beauty of making it at home – there are no rules! I usually do about 1.5x it, or you can keep it true to the recipe for a weaker, sippable drink that’s perfect poolside and for beach days!
  • I make mine with unsweetened cranberry juice as I feel this balances the sweetness in the drink better, but you can do what you prefer! Use sweetened cranberry juice, or adjust with simple syrup for a sweeter cocktail

Peach Fuzz Serving and Presentation

  • The traditional restaurant garnish for the Texas Peach Fuzz is a slice of orange. However, you could use a slice of peach, sprig of mint, or a maraschino cherry if you prefer
  • A Texas Roadhouse Peach Fuzz is served in a hurricane glass. However, if you don’t have one (like me), you can use a pint glass, wine glass, coupe glass, or anything similar
