If you love the classic s’mores flavors of chocolate, marshmallow, and graham cracker, but not the mess, then you need this s’mores crunchwrap! It’s just like the Taco Bell classic offering, but this dessert version is packed with the sweet stuff instead, for a delicious mashup!

What is a S’mores Crunchwrap?
A s’mores crunchwrap is a fun, dessert-style twist on the classic Taco Bell crunchwrap — but instead of savory fillings, it’s loaded with gooey marshmallows, melty chocolate, and crunchy graham crackers all wrapped in a tortilla and toasted to golden perfection.

It combines everything you love about s’mores into a neat, portable package with a crispy exterior and a molten center! I make mine in the air fryer because it comes out perfectly golden brown with no need to turn on the oven (especially in the summer heat), but the stove is great too!
This recipe is quick, mess-free compared to traditional campfire s’mores, and totally customizable! Plus, it’s a great way to enjoy s’mores flavors year-round, even without a fire pit! Perfect for barbecues, parties, kids, or just a cozy night treat.

Ingredients Needed

- 4 burrito size large flour tortillas (10” – 12” diameter)
- 2 graham crackers (broken in half for 4 squares)
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 4 ounces milk chocolate bar (like Hershey’s)
- 2 Tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp cinnamon sugar (optional)
Ingredient Tips and Substitutions
- You can use whole wheat or low carb tortillas as well if preferred (though it will alter the texture a bit). I recommend warming them in the microwave for 15-20 seconds to make them more pliable
- Any type of graham crackers you like is fine – honey, cinnamon, or another flavor of choice! You could even use a handful of small ones, like Teddy Grahams
- I think mini marshmallows work the best, but if you only have large ones you could cut them in half so they fit and melt better!
- Instead of milk chocolate, get creative! Customize your s’mores with dark or semi-sweet chocolate, Reese’s peanut butter cups, Nutella spread, chocolate with almonds, or whatever you desire! You can also use chocolate chips instead of the bars
- If you don’t have prepared cinnamon sugar and want to use it, mix 1 Tbsp regular granulated sugar with ½ tsp ground cinnamon for a homemade version!
Step By Step Instructions
- Lay a tortilla on a clean surface, and add ½ cup of mini marshmallows to the center of the tortilla (spread them flat)

- Break a graham cracker in half, and add one half over top of the marshmallows. When I originally made this recipe, I used both halves, but subsequently tested and prefer the ratio with just one half instead

- Top graham cracker with 1 ounce of chocolate (about 4-6 squares usually, but it can vary based on brand of chocolate)

- Fold one side of the tortilla upwards over the center, hold it in place, and then move around the tortilla, folding the remaining edges of tortilla over to make pleats (5-6 in total). Repeat until all crunchwraps are assembled. Don’t wrap overly tight, or the graham cracker can poke through your tortilla
- Place seam-side down into your air fryer’s basket or rack. Brush the tops with 1 Tbsp of the melted butter (you may have a little left over)

- Cook on the air fry setting at 400°F for 5-7 minutes (until it starts to brown). Then, flip (so the seams are now face up), brush with the additional 1 Tbsp butter, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until golden brown
- Top with the cinnamon sugar mixture (brush on any remaining melted butter you have to help it adhere) and enjoy! I recommend cutting your crunchwrap in half and seeing how over-melted the marshmallows might be – if needed, add a few extras in while hot so they soften and make it extra gooey!

Stovetop Directions
You can also make these crunchwraps in a frying pan on the stove. Cook over medium heat, about 3-4 minutes on each side (or until desired browning level is reached).
In this case, you can melt the butter in the pan instead of brushing it on!
Serving and Pairing Suggestions
Dessert Pairings
- Vanilla ice cream or milkshakes – the cold and creamy texture is the perfect contrast to the warm, gooey crunchwrap!
- Drizzled sauces – serve with a drizzle of chocolate syrup, caramel, or even peanut butter sauce for extra indulgence
Beverage Pairings
- Hot cocoa or mocha – especially in colder months, this brings out the cozy, campfire vibes. For the adults, how about a boozy Salted Caramel Whiskey Hot Chocolate?

Recipe FAQs
How Do I Seal the Edges of the Tortilla?
To seal the edges of your tortilla, warm it slightly so it becomes more pliable. Then, fold the edges inward over the filling and press gently to hold.
If needed, you can use a bit of chocolate spread, peanut butter, or even a light brushing of water as a glue to help it stay closed while cooking.
Can I Use Whole Wheat Tortillas?
Yes, whole wheat tortillas work just fine in a s’mores crunchwrap. They offer a slightly nuttier flavor and a bit more fiber, which can be a nice contrast to the sweetness of the filling.
What to Put in S’mores Instead of Marshmallows?
If you want to skip marshmallows, try using marshmallow fluff, peanut butter, Nutella, or even sliced strawberries or banana slices. These options still add creaminess and/or sweetness while offering a fun twist on the classic combo!
Tips For the Best S’mores Crunchwrap
- Don’t overstuff your crunchwraps too much. Unlike their savory counterparts, this version doesn’t have an extra tortilla to cover the gap from folding, so you’ll want them to be a bit smaller for best results!
- When cooking in the air fryer, the marshmallows tend to melt into the tortilla and the graham cracker during cooking. I’ve tested it a bunch, and generally find the best answer is to add more marshmallows vs other ingredients. If you cut it open and it isn’t marshmallow-y enough for you, add some extra mini marshmallows in while it’s hot and they’ll soften and make it decadently gooey!

Storage and Reheating Tips
Storage
Let the crunchwrap cool completely before storing to avoid sogginess. Wrap it in foil or place it in an airtight container, then refrigerate for up to 3 days. For longer storage, wrap leftovers tightly in plastic wrap and foil and freeze for up to a month.
Reheating
To reheat, warm it in a skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes per side until the outside is crisp and the inside is gooey. If reheating from frozen, let it thaw in the fridge overnight first.
In the air fryer, reheat at 350°F for 4-5 minutes, flipping halfway through (add 1-2 minutes if reheating from frozen). You can also use the oven – place them on a baking sheet and bake at 375°F for 10-15 minutes (flip halfway through), or about 18-20 minutes from frozen.
Avoid the microwave if you want to keep the tortilla crispy—an air fryer or oven works better!
Final Thoughts
These s’mores crunchwraps are such a fun way to enjoy the classic campfire treat – with no fire required! The air fryer delivers a perfect crunch on the outside, with gooey marshmallow, melted chocolate, and crispy grahams inside.
Enjoy all the flavors of traditional s’mores in an easy to eat format! You can customize them too, with different types of chocolate and fillings. I think they’re perfect for summer nights (especially after a barbecue), but they’re great for movie night and parties too.
It’s one of my new favorite ways to enjoy a childhood classic. Looking for more ways to use up leftover marshmallows? Check out all my favorite unique S’mores Recipes for more inspiration!
