What is Pink Whitney Jungle Juice?

Pink Whitney jungle juice is a party-friendly, large-batch cocktail made with Pink Whitney, a flavored vodka with a sweet-tart pink lemonade profile, as the base.

Jungle juice is a highly customizable drink that involves combining various fruit juices, spirits, and mixers in a big bowl or pitcher to create a fruity, refreshing drink that’s easy to serve to a crowd. Of course, it’s also simple enough to scale down for a single serving!

Using Pink Whitney flavored vodka as the base adds its signature citrusy sweetness and vibrant color to the mix, making this drink perfect not only for spring and summer, but also for special occasions like Valentine’s Day, your Galentine’s party, or a bachelorette party!

Ingredients List

ingredients to make pink whitney jungle juice

For a Single Serving

  • 2 ounces Pink Whitney vodka
  • 1 ounce prepared pink lemonade
  • 1-2 ounces fruit punch (depending on desired strength)
  • Fresh lemon slices, raspberries, and/or strawberries

For a Party (About 12 Servings)

  • 750ml bottle Pink Witney vodka (or about 3 cups)
  • 1 ½ cups prepared pink lemonade
  • 3 cups fruit punch
  • Lemons, raspberries and/or strawberries

Ingredient Tips and Substitutions

  • While Pink Whitney adds pink lemonade flavor, you could also use regular vodka as well, and/or add some rum to the drink for extra strength. White or coconut rum both go well here!
  • You can use store bought or homemade pink lemonade. Using homemade allows you to control the sweetness a bit more (as this drink is on the sweeter side)
  • Instead of fruit punch, you can really use any fruit juices you like. Strawberry daiquiri mix is another great option, or use your favorite combination of pineapple, orange, peach, strawberry, or other tropical juice flavors
  • For a fizzy variation, top the drink off with some Sprite (or another lemon-lime soda), ginger ale, or use unsweetened lemon sparkling water or club soda if you want to reduce sweetness
  • To add caffeine, you can also add a Red Bull (peach or berry flavors go best with this blend)!

Step By Step Instructions

  1. Add fresh fruit (if desired) and ice to a glass

  2. Stir when ready to serve, and pour or ladle into individual ice-filled glasses. Enjoy!

Food Pairing Suggestions

Here are some of my favorite food pairing suggestions for what to serve with my Pink Whitney jungle juice recipe:

Savory Options

  • Charcuterie Board: Include cured meats, cheeses, and crackers to complement the sweet and fruity flavors of the drink
  • Sliders: Mini burgers or chicken sliders provide a hearty, savory contrast to the light, refreshing jungle juice
  • Tacos: Especially shrimp or fish tacos, which pair well with citrusy and fruity cocktails. Try my spicy Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos for a delicious option!

Fruity and Light Options

  • Fresh Fruit Platter: Grapes, pineapple, watermelon, and other seasonal fruits align perfectly with the fruity tones of the jungle juice
  • Fruit Skewers: Easy to eat and visually appealing, these pair well with the drink’s tropical vibe!

Salty Snacks

  • Popcorn: Lightly salted or seasoned popcorn adds a crunchy and savory balance
  • Pretzels: Their saltiness complements the sweet and tangy flavors of the jungle juice

Sweet Treats

  • Lemon Bars: Enhance the lemonade notes with a tangy, sweet dessert
  • Strawberry Shortcake: Its fruity flavors mirror the jungle juice’s ingredients. My Air Fryer Strawberry Shortcake is a simple shortcut recipe!
  • Cupcakes: Consider pink lemonade-flavored or berry-themed cupcakes for a fun match. My Pink Lemonade Rice Krispie Treats are also a perfect no bake option!

Recipe FAQs

How Much Alcohol Is In Jungle Juice?

The alcohol content in jungle juice can vary greatly depending on the ratio of alcohol to mixers. For this recipe, Pink Whitney vodka is the primary source of alcohol, which is a lower ABV than a traditional vodka.

If made as directed with about 2 ounces of vodka per serving, the alcohol by volume (ABV) would be approximately 10-15%, similar to a glass of wine. Scaling it up or adding more mixers will dilute the overall ABV.

What Juice Goes Good With Pink Whitney?

Pink Whitney pairs well with a variety of juices, including pink lemonade, fruit punch, cranberry juice, and orange juice.

These juices enhance the vodka’s citrusy, sweet flavor while adding additional layers of fruity complexity.

Can I Use Bottled Pink Lemonade For This Recipe?

Yes, bottled pink lemonade works perfectly for this recipe. It’s a convenient option that doesn’t sacrifice flavor.

Just ensure you choose a high quality brand for the best results. You can also make your own, which gives you more control over sweetness levels compared to commercially produced options.

Can I Make This With A Powdered Lemonade Mix?

Absolutely! Powdered lemonade mix can be used as a substitute.

Prepare the mix according to the package instructions (usually using water) and adjust the sweetness as needed to complement the other ingredients in your jungle juice.

Tips For the Best Pink Whitney Jungle Juice

  • As written, this drink is low strength due to the ratio of alcohol to mixers (perfect for summer sipping)! However, you can add more Pink Whitney, or supplement with regular vodka and/or rum if you want to increase the strength
  • Due to the fruit juices, this cocktail is relatively sweet. If you prefer a less sweet drink, use less sweet juices, add unsweetened sparkling water or club soda to dilute, or balance the lemonade with some fresh lemon or lime juice

Storage and Presentation Tips

  • Glassware. You can serve jungle juice in all sorts of glasses, so choose your favorite! I usually like a highball, mason jar, or decorative punch glass. However, plastic party cups are a great option as well for a crowd!
  • You can mix everything together up to 24 hours in advance (without ice or berries) and store in an airtight pitcher or container in the fridge. Add ice and berries just before serving (or in individual glasses) for best results!
  • Garnishes are optional, but a lemon slice or twist of peel, fresh raspberries, or fresh strawberries are all great choices. Add a sprig of mint for an herbal pop if you like!
  • Mermaid Rum Punch
  • Texas Roadhouse Copycat Armadillo Punch

Final Thoughts

This Pink Whitney jungle juice is one of my favorite alcoholic punch recipes since it’s so simple to make, and delicious too! It’s always a huge hit at summer parties, like backyard barbecues, pool parties, at the beach, and more!

I love how customizable it is, so you can swap the juices and even mix and match liquors to make a combo you’ll love. However, this 3-ingredient version keeps it simple, fruity, and flavorful for a low stress drink.
