Biscuit bombs are such a fun treat, as it’s just biscuit dough wrapped around whatever you want! There’s both sweet and savory variations out there to try, but I love making these peach pie biscuit bombs for the summer. I even cook them in my air fryer, so there’s no oven needed!

What Are Peach Pie Biscuit Bombs?
Peach pie biscuit bombs are an easy yet delicious dessert that combines the flavors of peach pie with the soft, fluffy texture of biscuits. They’re made by stuffing biscuit dough with prepared peach filling, or homemade with fresh or canned peaches mixed with sugar and spices.
The filled biscuits are then sealed and cooked, resulting in a warm, gooey peach center encased in a golden, buttery biscuit. When cooked in the air fryer, peach pie biscuit bombs develop a crisp exterior while maintaining a soft and juicy inside.
The air fryer method also reduces the cooking time compared to a traditional oven, making these dessert bites quick and easy to prepare, and produces less heat in your kitchen, which is especially great in the summer!

Biscuit bombs are perfect for a variety of occasions, from family gatherings to quick weeknight desserts, and can be enjoyed on their own or with a scoop of ice cream for added indulgence!

Peach Pie Biscuit Bomb Ingredients

- 16 ounce can large refrigerated biscuits (such as Pillsbury Grands)
- ½ cup prepared peach pie filling
- 2 Tbsp salted butter, melted
- 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
- ½ tsp cinnamon
Ingredient Tips and Substitutions
- Any brand of refrigerated biscuits is fine. I like butter flavor, but most flavors will work just fine. You can also use the smaller size (adjust cooking time down by about 2 minutes) if you want mini bites
- You can also use homemade filling with fresh or canned diced peaches (I just like the prepared pie filling for a shortcut). I have a great homemade filling over in my Air Fryer Peach Hand Pies recipe if you want to go that route!
- Technically, the butter, sugar, and cinnamon are optional. You could eat these biscuit bombs plain, or top them with glaze or frosting instead if you prefer!
How to Make Peach Pie Biscuit Bombs in the Air Fryer
- Open your can of biscuits and separate them. Then, use your palm or a rolling pin to flatten each one to about ¼” thickness

- In the center of each flattened biscuit, add a heaping 1 Tbsp of the peach pie filling. Tip: if your filling is made of large slices of peaches, cut them into small bits to make this easier

- Close the dough around the filling to form a ball shape, and pinch the seams well to seal

- Place your filled biscuit bombs into your air fryer’s basket or rack, allowing at least ½” between them for expansion during cooking. You can use parchment underneath for easier cleanup, or a bit of nonstick spray to prevent them from otherwise sticking to the basket

- Cook on the air fry setting at 350°F for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until the dough is golden brown on all sides. Time can vary slightly between air fryers and brands of dough used, so adjust as needed
- While the biscuit bombs are cooking, melt your butter, and combine the sugar and cinnamon together in a shallow bowl

- Once the biscuits are cooked, remove them from the air fryer. Immediately brush the tops with the melted butter, then dip into the cinnamon sugar mixture until coated

- Cool slightly (the centers will be hot) and enjoy!

Alternate Oven Baking Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F
- Add biscuit bombs to a baking sheet lined with parchment

Recipe FAQs
How Do Peach Pie Biscuit Bombs Taste?
These bombs have a delicious combination of buttery, flaky biscuit crust and a warm, gooey peach filling, offering a delicious contrast in textures and flavors.
The taste is similar to a peach pie or peach cobbler, but in a handheld single-serving portion.
Why Use an Air Fryer for Peach Pie Biscuit Bombs?
Using an air fryer to cook peach pie biscuit bombs ensures a crisp outer layer and a soft, perfectly cooked interior.
It’s also faster and more energy-efficient than using a traditional oven, saving you from heating up your house in the middle of the summer.
Can I Use Fresh Peaches for Peach Pie Biscuit Bombs?
Yes, you can use fresh peaches. Simply peel and slice them before mixing with sugar and spices for the filling.
Make sure to add some cornstarch as well (usually 1 Tablespoon is sufficient) to absorb the excess moisture from the fruit to prevent the bombs from becoming soggy.
What Type of Biscuit Dough Should I Use?
Refrigerated biscuit dough from the store is perfect for convenience. Any flavor works, though butter or honey butter are popular choices.
You can use any size as well, just make sure to adjust the filling amounts and cooking times accordingly if you go with a smaller size.
Do I Need to Preheat the Air Fryer?
No. Since the biscuit bombs get flipped during cooking, you do not need to preheat.
However, depending how long it takes your specific air fryer to get to temperature, you may need to add a few minutes to cooking time to compensate.
How Long Should I Cook Peach Pie Biscuit Bombs in the Air Fryer?
Cooking times can vary, but generally, it takes about 8-12 minutes at 350°F (175°C) to cook peach pie biscuit bombs in an air fryer.
The size and thickness of your dough, as well as your specific air fryer will cause it to vary, so add additional time in small increments as needed.
Can I Add Any Toppings to Peach Pie Biscuit Bombs?
Yes, you can add a sprinkle of powdered sugar, a drizzle of icing, or even a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top for extra indulgence.
This can be in addition to or in place of the butter and cinnamon sugar mixture, depending on your preferences.
Are There Any Variations of Peach Pie Biscuit Bombs?
You can experiment with adding different spices like cinnamon or nutmeg to the peach filling or using other fruits like apples or berries for a different flavor profile.
Different biscuit dough will also give you different flavors, like butter, honey butter, buttermilk, or even cinnamon rolls.
Recipe Pro Tips For the Best Peach Pie Biscuit Bombs
- Pinch the seams as well as you can, making sure to fully seal in the filling. You may still get some leaks during cooking, but this should minimize it as much as possible
- I baked my biscuit bombs in a Ninja air fryer, without preheating, and they were perfectly cooked after 12 minutes total. Other air fryers may vary, as well as different brands, flavors, and thicknesses of biscuit dough, so adjust as needed for your specific needs
- You can also split the biscuits in half (this is easier if you get the “layers” variety), which will give you twice as many biscuit bombs, as well as increasing the filling to dough ratio. This is personal preference of course. Drop your cooking time to 8 minutes to start if you use this thinner dough option
- If you don’t have a pastry brush, you can dunk the tops of the bombs in the butter before rolling in the cinnamon sugar. However, I find it doesn’t get coated as evenly and you end up with uneven spots (but they’re still delicious)

Storage and Reheating of Peach Pie Bombs
- Store any leftover pie bombs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days
- Reheat peach pie biscuit bombs in the air fryer for 2-3 minutes at 350°F before serving to warm them and restore their crispiness, if desired. You can also microwave them for around 30 seconds on high, but they’ll get softer and chewier this way

If you love peach pie or cobbler, then you’ll love these little filled biscuits. They’re perfect for single servings, making them great for entertaining as well!
Since the air fryer works so well to cook them, you don’t have to fire up the oven in the heat of the summer, which is an added bonus in my book!
