For a fun summer party treat, you have to try these Crown peach Jello shots! Crown Royal peach whiskey is mixed with peach flavored Jello, and topped with peach candy for a fun treat for the adults that still brings out the kid in us! It’s one of my favorite things to serve at barbecues too!

What Are Crown Peach Jello Shots?
Crown peach Jello shots are a popular party treat that combines the smooth, fruity flavor of Crown Royal peach whisky with the classic gelatin-based Jello shot. They’re served in small, single-serving cups and topped with a peach candy, so they’re both fun and flavorful!
The use of Crown Royal Peach, a smooth Canadian whisky known for its rich, peach-infused taste, adds a unique twist to the traditional jello shot, taking it from a simple gelatin dessert to a fun adult-friendly treat.
Making Crown peach Jello shots is actually pretty simple. It involves dissolving peach-flavored jello powder in boiling water, then mixing in peach whiskey (or another peach flavored liquor) instead of the cold water typically called for in Jello recipes.

Crown Peach Jello Shots Ingredients

- 3-ounce box peach Jello mix
- 1 cup peach juice (such as Simply Peach) or water
- 1 cup Crown Royal peach whisky
- 12 peach gummy candies (such as peach rings or Haribo peaches)
Ingredient Tips and Substitutions
- This recipe basically substitutes peach juice for the hot water and peach whiskey for the cold water on the standard box of Jello recipe
- You can swap in peach schnapps, peach rum, or peach vodka (like New Amsterdam) instead of the peach Crown Royal if preferred
- Feel free to also split half and half with another flavor of liquor, like Malibu rum for a peach-coconut tropical mix, or strawberry vodka for a peach-strawberry combination!
- Other garnish options besides peach gummies would be fresh peach slices or whipped cream
- If you still have leftover peach rings, use them for these adorable Pool Party Jello Shots that will make you long for a warm summer day of relaxation!
Equipment Note
- You’ll need something to boil your juice (or water). A stovetop or electric kettle works, or you can also use your microwave
- To make Jello shots, you also need plastic shot glasses with lids (or mini condiment cups). I wanted to make these shots earlier in the week and forgot to get cups, so don’t be like me! These 2-ounce plastic cups work great (and the lids make them easy to stack)!
How to Make Crown Peach Jello Shots
- Boil 1 cup of juice (or water if preferred). You can do this in an electric kettle, stovetop kettle, or in the microwave. I microwave my juice in a large measuring cup on high for about 3 minutes in my 1000W microwave (it needs to get to 212°F)

- Combine the Jello mix with the boiling juice or water in a bowl, and stir until it’s fully dissolved. If you boiled your juice using a bowl or similar in the microwave, you can just add the Jello to the bowl!

- Stir in the Crown Royal peach whisky to the Jello juice mixture

- Pour or ladle your Jello mixture into individual shot cups. I like to set them on a baking sheet to catch drips, and it also makes them easier to transfer in and out of the fridge

- Allow the Jello shots to set in the refrigerator fully, usually around 2 hours
- Add a gummy peach ring (or other garnish as desired) to the top of each shot and enjoy!

Crown Peach Jello shots typically take 2-4 hours to set in the refrigerator.
For best results, leave them overnight.
Can I Make Non-Alcoholic Peach Jello Shots?
Yes, you can make non-alcoholic mocktail versions by replacing the peach whiskey with an equal amount of cold water or peach juice.
You could also use a different complimentary flavor of juice, such as strawberry, blueberry, cherry, pineapple, or orange juice.

You can garnish them with a dollop of whipped cream, fresh peach slices, or mint leaves for extra flair.

Be careful not to leave them in the freezer too long, or they may freeze solid.
Recipe Pro Tips For Crown Peach Jello Shots
- I like to boil my juice and mix everything in a large Pyrex measuring cup because it also provides a spout to easily pour the mixture into the individual cups. However, you can also use a funnel, ladle, or similar to aid in this process
- These are pretty strong as written (like a typical shot would be). However, if you want to reduce the strength or hide the alcohol a bit more, use ½ cup Crown and ½ cup cold water with it instead
- Try to fill your cups relatively evenly and not all the way to the top, or else they’ll end up with funny lid imprints once they set. They still taste fine (and you could probably cover imperfections with the candy if needed)!

Storing and Serving Jello Shots With Crown Royal
- Store peach Crown Jello shots in the refrigerator for up to one week. It’s best to keep them covered to avoid drying out and taking on fridge flavors. I usually use cups with lids for this reason (plus you can stack them for easier storage)!
- You can make Jello shots up to 2 days in advance and store in the refrigerator until needed for your get together, making it easy to prepare ahead!
- Serve Jello shots cold, directly from the cup. Feel free to remove the lids and add garnishes such as peach candies, peach rings, fresh peach slices, or whipped cream before serving to guests
- Caramel Apple Jello Shot
- Mosaic Jello Cups
- Lemon Drop Jello Shot
Final Thoughts
These easy Crown peach Jello shots are fun, fruity, delicious, and perfect for summer! Serve them up (to the adults) at your next summer barbecue, tailgate, or pool party and watch them fly off the tray!
Mix things up and make it your own by experimenting with different fruit juices, Jello flavors, or even a couple different alcohols. I like to make peach bellini shots sometimes by using raspberry Jello with peach Crown!
Top them up with fun peach gummies that will make you feel like a kid again, but this time with alcohol! Jello shots with Crown Royal are like the adult version of the classic peach rings candy, so enjoy!
