Make Jimmy John’s Caprese Salami Pesto sandwich instead! Add salami, use pesto instead of fresh basil, balsamic glaze instead of the vinaigrette, add onions and oregano, and use regular mayonnaise instead of garlic aioli. Omit arugula. The tomatoes, bread, and cheese can stay the same!

- On the bottom half of the ciabatta, spread the garlic aioli evenly

- Top with arugula, then layer the sliced tomatoes, basil leaves, and the sliced fresh mozzarella

- Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste, then drizzle with balsamic vinaigrette

- Place the sandwich into your air fryer’s basket or rack (you can skewer it with toothpicks to hold it together and keep the bread from blowing around)

- Air fry at 350°F for 5-7 minutes, until the bread is lightly toasted and the cheese is melty. You can flip halfway through for a more toasted bottom, but this isn’t strictly necessary
