Bacon wrapped peaches are one of my favorite summer treats because they combine fresh peaches with salty, smoky bacon for the perfect bite! They’re amazing as an appetizer, but equally good on a nice green salad with some burrata for a meal.

What Are Bacon Wrapped Peaches?
Bacon-wrapped peaches are a delicious appetizer or snack that combines the sweet and juicy flavor of peaches with the savory saltiness of the bacon.
When cooked in an air fryer, the bacon becomes crispy while the peaches maintain their juicy texture, creating a delightful contrast of flavors and textures.
There are lots of different ways you can season up both the peaches and the bacon to elevate this simple dish, with seasonings like garlic, brown sugar, balsamic, honey, butter, or even hot sauce.

I like to serve mine on a mixed greens salad alongside creamy burrata (or fresh mozzarella when my store is out) for the perfect summer salad, but bacon wrapped peaches are equally great as an appetizer for summer entertaining, or even a game day snack!

Bacon Wrapped Peaches Ingredients

- 2 large peaches, pits removed, and cut into 8 wedges
- 8 slices bacon, each cut in half crosswise
- ¼ tsp salt (or to taste)
- ¼ tsp black pepper (or to taste)
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- ½ tsp hot sauce (optional)
- 16 toothpicks, soaked in water for at least 15 minutes
For a Salad Serving (Optional):
- Mixed greens or arugula (about 2-3 cups)
- 8 ounce fresh mozzarella or burrata cheese, torn into 1” pieces
- 3 Tbsp balsamic glaze
Ingredient Tips and Substitutions
- I recommend using medium to large yellow freestone peaches (the other varieties don’t hold up as well), and there’s no need to peel them. Slightly underripe is best, as they cut and hold up better (and still get plenty soft during cooking). You can also use canned peach slices if fresh aren’t available
- Thin to medium-cut bacon is ideal for wrapping peaches as it cooks evenly and crisps up nicely in the air fryer. If you use thick cut, it will take longer to cook, and tends to not get as crispy. Your peaches will also tend to overcook in the amount of time needed, resulting in mushy fruit
- All seasonings are adjustable to taste, including omission. Other great options are basil, rosemary, thyme, onion powder, cinnamon, or tarragon (or use some fresh basil leaves in your salad)! You could also wrap in a jalapeño strip with the peach for some heat!
- You can use honey instead of brown sugar, or omit entirely and use ½ Tbsp of olive oil for a more savory adaptation. You can also add some balsamic glaze (if you’re serving without the salad option)
How to Make Bacon Wrapped Peaches
- In a bowl, toss the peach slices with the salt, pepper, garlic powder, brown sugar, and hot sauce (if using) until evenly coated

- Wrap each piece of peach in a half slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick. Try not to overlap the bacon strips too much, which will allow it to get more crisp as it cooks

- Place peaches into your air fryer’s basket or rack in a single layer. Do not overcrowd or the bacon won’t crisp well, cook in batches if needed

- Cook on the air fry setting at 375°F (or the closest setting your air fryer has) for 15-20 minutes, flipping every 5, until the bacon is browned to your liking. I usually go 20 because I prefer crispier bacon, but it’s up to you. Adjust the time based on your specific air fryer, the thickness of your bacon, and your desired level of browning
- Remove the toothpicks, then serve. If serving as an appetizer, stick fresh toothpicks in and arrange on a serving platter. For a salad, place the peaches on top of a bed of arugula and burrata, then drizzle balsamic glaze over everything

Recipe FAQs
Why Use an Air Fryer for Bacon Wrapped Peaches?
Using an air fryer ensures the bacon cooks evenly and becomes crispy without the need for excessive oil.
It’s also a quicker and more convenient method than using a traditional oven to bake them, and doesn’t require owning a grill.
Can I Use Canned or Frozen Peaches for Bacon Wrapped Peaches?
Fresh peaches are best for this dish as they hold their shape and have a better texture when cooked. Canned or frozen peaches may become too soft and mushy.
However, if that is your only option, use canned packed in juice, drain, and dry peaches well before seasoning and wrapping.
Are Bacon Wrapped Peaches Good For Special Diets?
This dish can fit into various diets, including low-carb and gluten-free.
To make it suitable for keto, ensure the bacon has no added sugars.
How Should I Serve Bacon Wrapped Peaches?
They can be served as an appetizer, snack, or even as a side dish. Pair them with a dipping sauce like ranch or a balsamic reduction for added flavor.
To make a meal, add them to a green salad, along with mozzarella, burrata, or queso fresco, and finish with balsamic glaze or vinaigrette. Add in candied pecans as a finishing touch for a nice crunch!
Recipe Pro Tips For the Best Bacon Wrapped Peaches
- I do not preheat my air fryer for this recipe. I use a Ninja Dual Zone model, and they are perfect for my preferences after 20 minutes total. Other air fryers, bacon thicknesses, and desired level of browning may require small adjustments to time
- This recipe is very easy to double or more if you’d like to make a larger batch for entertaining
- Soaking the toothpicks in water helps to prevent them from burning during cooking!

Storage, Reheating, and Make Ahead Tips
- Store any leftover bacon wrapped peaches in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 1-2 days (the peaches don’t keep for more than that usually)
- To reheat in the air fryer, add the peaches and cook for 2-3 minutes at 350°F, until warmed through. You shouldn’t need the toothpicks in them for reheating
- Make Ahead. You can assemble the bacon wrapped peaches up to 24 hours in advance and store them in the fridge until ready to cook – this makes them a great option for entertaining!
