What You’ll Need

- 1 package of Hawaiian pretzel slider rolls (such as Kings Hawaiian)
- 3 slices spiral ham (or about ½ pound deli ham)
- 4 slices swiss cheese
- 3 Tbsp garlic aioli
- 1 Tbsp butter, melted
- ½ Tbsp Dijon mustard
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
Tips & Variations on Ingredients
- Rolls. You can use regular Hawaiian slider rolls (not pretzel) or even non-Hawaiian rolls if preferred
- Cheese. Cheddar is a good substitute if you don’t like swiss, as it goes well with ham
- Aioli. You can use regular mayonnaise and add ½ tsp garlic powder if needed
- Sauce mix. If you use non-Hawaiian rolls, add 1 tsp brown sugar for sweetness. You can also add other seasonings like everything bagel mix, poppyseeds, onion flakes, or others to your liking (we just hate poppyseeds getting stuck in our teeth!)

- Combine melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and onion powder in a small bowl

Recipe FAQs
How Long to Cook Ham and Cheese Sliders in the Air Fryer?
Ham and cheese sliders should cook for about 5-8 minutes on average in an air fryer.
This can vary based on the filling type and thickness, as well as the temperature and power of your air fryer.
How to Reheat Sliders in the Air Fryer?
Reheat sliders in the air fryer for 3-5 minutes at 350°F.
If you don’t want them to brown any further, wrap them in foil first before placing them in the air fryer basket.
Can Sliders Be Prepared the Day Before?
You can prepare sliders the day before. However, do not apply the butter on the buns when preparing. Add it just before you’re ready to cook them.
This will prevent the buns from getting soggy while being stored.
Recipe Tips From the Pros
- If you’d like to make the sliders pull-apart instead of cutting them, trim the ham and cheese slices to fit each bun ahead of time
- I don’t add butter mixture to the top of the pretzel rolls because you’ll ruin the pretzel salt if you do that
- This recipe easily doubles (or more) to feed a crowd
- 5 minutes was perfect in my Ninja Foodi Dual Zone air fryer, however times may vary slightly with other air fryers
